ACS Facilities

Animal Care Services has several locations throughout San Antonio to provide various pet resources for the community.

151 Main Campus

151 Main Campus Opened in the Fall of 2007, our 20-acre campus is the center of operations for the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services Department. Services available include adoptions, owner reclaim, City license and permit purchasing, pet microchipping, stray pet drop-off, mandated rabies observation, and volunteer opportunities. Our campus contains 2 buildings for stray and adoptable dogs, a cattery for stray and adoptable cats, an annex building housing our training rooms (available for rent) and volunteer offices – all open to the public.

One of our partners, San Antonio Pets Alive!, operates Building 1 on our campus with pets also available for adoption. You will also find representatives from San Antonio Humane Society and Animal Defense League on our campus as they assist with finding live outcomes for those pets brought to this facility.

In addition, the 151 location also hosts weekly low-cost vaccination clinics, pet trainings, volunteer opportunities, and other community events. Check out our calendar for a list of events!
