Vendors who are interested in selling novelty items on the River Walk at one of the six stationary sites will have the opportunity to participate in a lottery process. Completed applications and other requirements are necessary for vendors to be included in the annual lottery for the stationary designated permits. An informational meeting for those interested in learning more about this program will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the Central Library Auditorium, 600 Soledad. The lottery has been scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Central Library Auditorium.
September 25, 2013 beginning after the informational meeting - Applications to participate in the River Walk Stationary Designated Public Space Vending Program will be available. Applications can be picked up at the Downtown Operations Offices located at 400 N. St. Mary’s Suite 100, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Holidays.
Applications will only be accepted from October 8, 2013 through November 5, 2013 and with an appointment. To schedule an appointment call Jaime Hernandez at 207-2725.
November 5, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. - Deadline for submitting complete applications to participate in the River Walk Stationary Designated Public Space Vending Program Lottery. Any applications not complete by this date will not be considered for the November 14, 2013 lottery.
November 14, 2013, 9:30 a.m. - The River Walk Lottery will be held at the Central Library Auditorium located at 600 Soledad.
The City of San Antonio will be closed the week between Christmas and New Years. Payment for the River Walk Stationary Designated Public Space Vending permits must be made no later than December 20, 2013 as a result of the City of San Antonio holiday schedule.
