Texcare Partnership

TexCare Partnership is a new children’s health insurance campaign developed especially for Texas children. The campaign covers children from birth through age 18.

TexCare Partnership offers separate children’s health insurance programs:

• Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
• Medicaid
• Texas Healthy Kids Corporation (THKC)
• SKIP - State Kids Insurance Program

Each program has its own set of rules and its own benefits - some limitations apply.

Benefits include: regular checkups, shots, eye exams, classes, prescription drugs, specialist care, dental care, mental health care, x-rays, lab tests, Hospital care and services.

Fits Your Budget: Even if you have never been able to afford children’s health insurance before, now you can. Rates are based on the number of people in your family and your family’s income and expenses. You can call the TexCare Partnership hotline at 1-800-647-6558 to find out exactly how much it will cost to insure your children.

Applying is Easy: You can apply for the insurance over the phone by calling the TexCare toll-free number at 1-800-647-6558. Operators speak English and Spanish and are available Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday to 3 p.m. (Central Time), except federal holidays.
