The attached registration form needs to be completed and returned to 243 N. Center, City of San Antonio, Parking Division in order to receive "free" parking decals which will enable residents, businesses, and property owners in the East side neighborhood living within the boundaries of I-37, Indiana, S. Hackberry, E. Commerce, S. Cherry, and E. Durango to park during events. (See attached map).
In addition, residents, businesses, and property owners in the LaVaca Neighborhood with the boundaries of Durango, Alamo, Labor, and Camargo are also eligible for the decal program. (See attached map).
Signs will be installed in the above neighborhoods which will require all vehicles to display a decal in order to park on the streets. During events, all other vehicles will be towed. The program only regulates the streets, not private property.
Eligibility for the program will be determined by the approval of the attached registration form.
Complete the attached registration form and proof of residency and mail or deliver it to the Parking Division at 243 N. Center Street, Suite 202, San Antonio, Texas 78202. A copy of the most current billing to your address, such as electric bill or water bill with your name on it, must be attached.
Each address is entitled up to four (4) decals at no cost. If decals are lost or stolen, each replacement decal will cost $5.00.
The decals will need to be picked up and signed for by the resident or owner. After the information in the registration form has been verified and a decal has been issued, the decal must be displayed from the rearview mirror during event parking days. Event Decals may not be sold to others.
