Mold
The City of San Antonio does NOT have any authority to force a private property owner, including rental property owners, to test for or remediate mold.
If you have concerns about possible mold growth in your residence, you will need to hire a private contractor to test and/or remediate the mold. If you live in a rental property, contact your landlord or property manager. If there is a structural issue on rental property which is causing the mold to grow, (e.g. a water pipe is leaking), and the property owner has not fixed it appropriately, call 311 to report the problem to Code Compliance.
