San Antonio BRAC 2005: A Community/Military Partnership Approach
Associate of Defense Communities, July 29, 2007
The San Antonio Military Transformation Task Force (MTTF) is a Community-Military Partnering Organization (CMPO) that has been established by the City of San Antonio, Bexar County and The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce. The City of San Antonio has been awarded a planning grant from the Office of Economic Adjustment to assist in managing growth as a result of the BRAC actions affecting San Antonio. The MTTF is, through a Community Advisory Committee, the community advisory body to the military's Executive Integration Oversight Board, which is supported by the San Antonio Integration Office. Come hear about how these organizations were established, what they do, and how your community might adopt some of their best practices.
