Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles
In 2011, the City of San Antonio’s Office of Sustainability received funding from the Department of Energy to install eight electric vehicle charging stations for public use . Drivers of electric vehicles using the chargers in the downtown area can refer to the EV Charge America operations brochure to utilize the free charger system. CPS Energy has installed over 120 chargers and has posted detail on the locations and flat-fee rate for their their City-wide charger network.
